This was groundbreaking fiction when it came out. I read it and hadn't heard of anyone having this perspective of life. It really illustrates how a person with autism sees the world and hence enables people to understand

Written from the perspective of the main character this book gives an enlightening perspective on what it’s like to live with ASC. Interspersed with diagrams and mathematical equations it was like looking at life through Christopher’s eyes. His triumphs and tribulations and a few shocks along the way.

A bit harder for me to read as its probably for older kids but still liked it. Lots of fun, math and facts. It was really a mystery till the end of the book. I especially liked the part of counting cars with same colours. Good day, bad day, really good day and reaaaaaallllly bad day.

This book was extremely interesting, and from the start there was so much information to take in. I was quite amazed at Christopher's abilities to defy and carry on even in such a tough situation. One thing I would like to say, however, is that this book could be quite scary, and I would only recommend to 10plus.

This book is incredible. I would recommend this to anybody and everybody, as long as they are allowed to read really bad words...

This book is a interesting murder mystery novel like no other. The detective and narrator is a fifteen year old boy called Christopher. When he finds a neighbour's dog murdered he sets out on a terrifying journey which will turn his whole world upside down.... This is a brilliant book which is hard to stop reading and hard to put down.

I loved this book. It was an unusual set up which made it interesting. I have relatives with Aspergers syndrome and it gave me a chance to be on their level.

This book amazed me. I couldn't stop reading it. I read it in one day and felt like i had learnt something. The way the world is described from the viewpoint of an autistic child is really spot on. I had to keep reminding myself that the author didn't have autism.
A brilliant and often funny book.

My favourite character was the main boy in the book that went to a school that had special needs and he had Aspergers Syndrome.
