Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear

I don't really like this book as it is quite emotional with a bear.

I liked this book with a scary bear! I rather liked it if I say so myself. My favorite person is the bear! I would defiantly recommend it!

A really fun read. I would definitely recommend to people in my class at school.

This book is crazy. The people don't talk properly and there are lots of odd things in this book. But it is really funny and there is the fatest guy in town Jonnathan ripples, Polly and Padlock the bear become the best of friends.

Fiction. Padlock was my favourite character

I got the series of Mr Gum books and I had heard the first chapter of this one so I was really excited to read the rest.

My favourite character was Padlock the bear, because he had a really good description and I could picture him really well in my head.

I would recommend this whole series to people who like jibberish English and funny language.

It wasn't my favourite one

There is a girl named Polly and a man called Mr Gum and Polly saw a bear and she calls it padlock. She has to take him back to the forest. I recommend this book to aged 8 and over.

I liked this book

The thing I liked was the bear (called Padlock). Fans of Mr. Gum will like this.

Not as good as the other ones, but a story about being homesick.

In the story Mr Gum tried to capture the bear to make them dance. The other bears made Mr Gum and his friends dance in the end. Mr Ripples was one of Padlocks friend in the story and he was my favourite character because he was funny and he was kind to Padlock.

I think this book is funny because it is about a captain who is really small and he is very crazy because he spent too much time at sea. He throws Polly and a bear called Padlock over board.

One of the best set of books ever

brilliant and funny

I liked the book because Polly was kind to Padlock the bear. In the book polly was trying to get Padlock the bear home to the land of the beasts but Mr Gum was trying to catch Padlock and make him dance.

A rib aching funny book about a butcher [called Mr Gum] who kidnaps a bear and makes him dance but Polly Is here to save the day . it is a fictional book and my best character is padlock the bear!

I enjoyed it they went on a balloon ride it was a bit funny, Mr gum was very strict, Paddlock the dancing bear he was very cheecky he loved to play and destroy things, apart from that he was very good, and there was funny names in the story.

you should try Mr gum because it makes you laugh and it has a tiny drop of a rat that makes it really funny!
