A mosaic- like novel written in very short sections, each one a nicely observed vignette. And what an excellent ending: original and poignant. Loved all the postcards and photos. It's a writer and her 12 year old daughter on a road trip around Scicily with a small, ancient mosaic.Greek myths, classical literature and philosophy abound.
