The plot of 'The Waiting List' will keep you guessing, but don't try to work out the truth. Enjoy the twists and turns.
Although the book is entertaining, its core theme of heart disease in a young woman is very serious. Themes of the importance of female friendship and desire for and love of a child are handled well by the writer.
If there's a moral message in this story, it is about trust of those you care about and who care about you.
In spite of the seriousness underlying this novel, the book was entertaining. I found the book an easy read even though the plot is rather complex.
There were points in the story where I had to laugh.
To be honest, this book was one I was happy to read, but the lives of the young men and women in it are so different from mine that I don't know how accurate some of the story is.
