An accessible read for middle grade and above, featuring eco and industrialisation themes in an engaging tale. A dystopian Edinburgh provides the setting, where breathable air is a commodity and everything has a price. Sparrow ekes out a living against this, supporting her family and surviving day to day. Things change when a friend gives her a gift, setting off a chain of events that could change everything for everyone… forever. Another terrific tale from the incredible imagination of Alastair Chisholm.
