In a world where witches are on the run and the 'normal' are now in charge we meet two characters who should hate each other but cannot stay away. A classic enemies to lovers book with magic to make it even better. I loved the characters and felt in tune with them fairly quickly into reading this book. I can't wait to read the second one!
