Max the Missing Puppy

The book is dramatic and sad but has a happy ending
Max is brought into a new family with a dog crazy girl who had never had a dog before
Max starts getting lonely as school starts for the girl
One day he meets a butterfly and gets scared so the girls mum scoops it out for him
The girl comes home to find Max gone and the window left open
Worried, the girl is determined to find him
On the other side of Engkand Jasmine a stranger to the girl is on holiday in Stratford and ends up finding Max curled up in some grass injured and a loss of blood as he recovers she starts to think about keeping him
Maxs new name is lucky
Lucky has his first time on the beach with Jasmine
Until the girl finds him and squeezes him with excitement
Jasmine gets sad "i wish i had a puppy like that"
The girl has a great idea max had brothers and sisters still on the market
Maxs Identical brother is now owned by Jasmine and has a happy ending

My favourite characters were Molly and Jasmine. I didn’t like the bit where Max had to go to the vets. I liked it when Jasmine found him and Molly had him back.

I would recommend this to someone else because it's about a puppy getting lost and is found by someone else who then gets the puppies brother. the owner gets max back.

I really enjoyed this fictional book. Max was bought home from a breeder the breeder restored ro a holiday home. He had a very happy home until after the summer holidays his owner had to go to school the mum was trying to work and let him out and he got was barking at a butterfly. She tried to shoo the butterfly out through the window and max escaped through the window. He kept walking and realised he was lost he went to the beach and played with the waves he went back to he road because he was hungry and tired. Max crossed the road and had a nap on some grass when he woke up ot was very dark and didn't realise he was in the middle of road and he got hit by a car. He was hurt but didn't break any bones and some holiday makers found him just in time and took him to the vets. The vet healed him and a week after they arrived and the holiday makers took him for a walk along the beach and bumped into his owner molly. Amy was very sad but at the end it was happy because Amy gave him back to molly and molly renamed him lucky!

Jasmine adopted Max's brother and called it Lucky

My favourite character is Max, because in the story he got seperated from his mum,dad and his brothers and sisters.
Also, in the middle of the story Max got lost and he was hit by a car, his leg left bleeding .
This shows me that he is brave, cheerful and always up for something new!☆

I would recommend this book to someone who likes adventures, and to someone who wants to read to the end of the story even if something sad or bad happens.

It was a sad book and a brave book

A little girl looses her dog, will they ever be able to find it. My favourite character is Max because he is brave. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy dog tales.

This book is delightful it almost left me in tears when Max got hit by a car! Anyway once again Holly Webb has not failed to surprise me for this book is the amazing I would definitely recommend someone else especially if you're a fan of Holly Webb.

when max gets lost molly is dertermined to find her puppy but a girl on holiday finds him with a hurt leg and when she takes him on a walk on the beach he finds his real owner but molly tells Jasmine she can have his brother she is delighted.

My favorite character was Max because he was a cute, friendly puppy. I was excited to see what happened to Max when he escaped. I was happy when he was saved after being hit by a car. I liked the ending because Molly got Max back.

I have read lots of Holly Webb books. The animals are so cute. recommed this book.

Turn into Lucky? Max is adorable, alothough it makes me sad as I've always wanted a puppy but I'm not allowed. I rate this book 5 stars and recommend it to you.

I thought that this book was awesome. Jasmine was a little rude, espicially when she said that she wished she had turned the other way but then again she had fallen in love with Max/Lucky and now Max/Lucky had to go. I understand how she would feel. However, it was obvious that (at the end) she really, really, really wanted to keep Max's/Lucky's brother. He was just too funny to keep ignoring. My faviroute charcters are Max and Molly because they both obviously loved each other so much. Max never ever forgot Molly and still wanted to search for her whilst Molly continuedmsearching for Max even though she had almost lost hope. I reccoemdn this book to everyone as it is awesome and amazing.

It seemed very cute and I love the fact that the dog wanted to find it's own home without any help

I liked that at the end Molly finds Max and they’re all happy. It is fiction. Max gets lost and run over. My favourite character is Jasmin because she calls the vets and rescues Max.

This book was good. My favourite part was when the little girl found max.

This book was really sad and sweet. I liked the ending the best because Molly found Max again and the other girl Jasmine could have Max's brother and named him Lucky.
