An enjoyable twist on a boarding school novel.

I thought this was an amazing book full of mystery and magic and unexpected turns to the story line. I loved the idea of an ancient forest hidden behind a waterfall and how it was like a crater inside a volcano. I really enjoyed reading this book and I thought it was brilliant!

It was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how Faye Fitzgerald was put on a mystery to uncover the truth about herself and how lovely it was to see all her friends helping her. This book tells me that teamwork always makes a dream work and how Faye was smart enough not to have those blue, drugged pills. You should always forget about the past and move on to the present and the future. Hope you enjoy reading it. You will love it. Especially if you like Lucy Strange!

Fiction. Read the extract and prologue with my Y5 class who then voted to read it as our class reader.
The children had so many great questions and I feared so much from the prologue and first few pages. Lots of clues! At first I thought the content was quite mature and a little scary, but as I read in it became more suitable in scope. I have no doubt the children will love it!
