I liked the main character Mara as she stood up for what she believed was right and he wanted to help others. Eban was a good character too as we found out he had some secrets too and he wanted to make changes to the Cloud factory. It was a good dilemma when Mara had to use the elixir on him instead of Old Bern who she was trying to cure. Some Harry Potter themes with the Petrified forest and the flying skirex. Good fun and will recommend to my Year 3 class.
