The Paper Dolls

I really enjoyed this book because it is a nice book to read. This book is about a girl who makes her own paper dolls with her mum. One day she goes to the field and leaves her paper dolls on the floor and a boy comes over and cuts them up. The dolls names are Ticky and Tacky, Jackie the Backie, Jim with two noses and Jo with the bow. The paper dolls remain in the girls memories were all of the things she loves are there including her grandma and her hairclip.

I like the things that come to get the paper dolls like the tiger and the crocodile. My favourite doll is Jim with 2 noses.

I liked it when the pictures showed the girl turning to a teenager and then a Mummy. I like the part when we went into her memory.

Rhyming their names were fun!

My favourite characters were Jim with two noses and Fred with one eyebrow because they made me laugh. My favourite part was when the girl made the paper dolls for her paper girl. I would recommend this book to others.

Me and my mum love this book. There’s a girl that makes paper dolls and she imagines that they are real and talks to them. They go on adventures together and play lots of fun games. They sing a special song when something is trying to get them. When the girl grows up, she makes paper chains with her daughter and they sing the same song. This is my favourite part.
