Our world is full of wonderful animals. From the brightly coloured mandrills in the rainforests of Africa to the majestic humpback whales in the icy waters of the Antarctic. Through his beautiful and colourful illustrations, readers will be dazzled by the giraffes and elephants in Africa, koalas and kangaroos in Australia, huge blue whales in the open oceans, and many more! These animals, some endangered, remind us that nature is incredible, and that we need its diversity more than ever.

This was donated to me by Flying Eye Books.
I adore Flying Eye's non fiction books. They are tactile and have the most beautiful illustrations and Dieter Braun's illustrations are no exception. You do need to be aware these are not photographs.
This book is separated into the animals found in each continent. There is only a small amount of text on each animal and some animals pictured have no text at all.
I particularly like the drawings of the raccoon, wolf, sloth, snow leopard, panda and of course the tapir (because baby tapirs are very cute!).
