The brand new must-read middle-grade novel from the author of super-spookyCrater Lake. Perfect for 9+ fans of R.L.Stine’s Goosebumps.
There’s a new craze at Dread Wood High. Flinch is a game of fear. The more you scare your friends, the more points on the app you get. At first it’s fun, but soon fun is replaced by fear. And Angelo and his friends notice that everyone is behaving more and more strangely every day – almost as if something is taking over their brains… With the fair arriving in town, adrenaline and excitement levels are high. But who are the people behind the super-creepy clown masks? With fights breaking out and Flinch in full force, it’s time for the final showdown at the Fear Ground. Let the REAL games begin! Brilliant book sacary and funny at the same tim grate storys.
I absolutely love this book! It is so interesting and I would really recommend this book to children my age.
This book is fictional and my favourite character is Angelo as he is daring and curious to know more things like me. He is never scared and he always likes to solve mysteries. Angelo is a kind-hearted and happy person which is also like me. I would recommend this book to people who are not easily scared as it has many parts which have a lot of tension and drama in it.
It was really thrilling. It was an adrenaline roller coaster at some points everything was a mystery but at the end everything was answered expect one....
I love this book and it's series. I so recommend it to anyone above 8
Very good i love the spook horror theme
Super scary and funny
I loved Colette because she is so kind.I loved that it was horror and that there was a lot of adventure. I recommend this book to anyone who loves horror.
I found this book really nerve wracking because of the Flinch game. It really had me hooked.
It is a super book!It tell us the friendship is a really important thing!
Another amazing Dread Wood book by Jennifer Killick! A bit more scary than the first book in the series, but just as good, if not, even better!
I quite like this book because it follows a similar plot to the first book. Personally I recommend this book to anyone who reads and likes horror as it is quite thrilling. I am excited to read the next books in the series.
Another excellent, creepy story for upper KS2-KS3. More hideous creatures; frightful antagonists with a nursery rhyme fixation; a cringy teacher and a fear-inducing app. I really like this series and will be thrusting it into the hands of my library visitors!
Is so beautiful book
Without a doubt, @JenniferKillick has upped the edge of your seat MG horror and pupils who love that adrenaline rush will absolutely need to read this. The cover alone is enough to give me the heebie-jeebies so the story...😱
