Gives an insight into black people lives in the 1800
I loved this book and I think you should read it!
Although fiction, I like how the girls were real people. Tells a good story about what life was like in the 1800s for black people and would be good to read/refer to during black history month.
I enjoyed the setting a lot. As someone interested in British history, I liked this added facet of life in 18th century London. And of course, the mystery has you at the edge of your seat until the end!
