Awarding-winning artist and animator Leigh Hodgkinson is the creator of this hilarious and heart-warming picture book, perfect for children aged 3-6.
Timothy Limpet feels out of place in the troll family – he likes things to be just so, and most trolls, frankly, don’t. Tabitha Lumpit likes things to be loud, loopy and messy and she feels like a fish out of water in her very neat family.
Sometimes they wonder if their families really see them for who they are, so when Timothy and Tabitha meet on the bridge they each decide the other’s family is a better fit and swap places . . . with hilarious and touching results.
Based around the time-honoured theme of ‘home is where the heart is’, this warm and witty story is a celebration of the individual and offers a valuable lesson on not judging others.

it wasn'tnice
I liked this book, the troll is my favourite character, I like to do good things like him and keep things tidy.
I liked that they swapped places and that it was funny the mummy and daddy thought the troll was Tabitha and the trolls thought the girl was Timothy. It was funny the troll and girl weren’t typical.
Yes I would recommend
It was a story between a girl and troll where they swap their identities and release it’s not correct and goes back to same .
I learnt from the story that it doesn't matter from how you act it matters about who you are!
Another funny story from Leigh Hodkinson about accepting differences.
I liked both of them because they each are someone and they always are in the story

It was very funny when they swapped places.
It was funny. The girl was silly and the troll was sensible. They had funny surnames.
I loved Timothy Limpet, the troll.
The trolls were unkind to him, they were saying he was rubbish.
I liked this book because the troll was better at the job than the person was!

Its really funny because the troll does what the girll should do and the girl does what the troll should do. Its a funny book because the girl picks her nose and shouts really loud.
The little girl and the troll they swap and the mum and dad miss the little girl and the troll mum and dad miss the troll.
A wonderful, fun story about enjoying being yourself.
It's really funny and I really enjoyed it
I liked this because it had a happy ending.
I like this book because it's about a little girl who's like a troll and a troll who's kind.
Timothy Limpet is a tidy and well-behaved troll. Tabitha Lumpit is a loud and messy little girl. Neither of them fit in. What happens when they swap places . . . .
I like this book because it's about about a girl who is big and growly who swaps places with a nice gentle troll.
