The tenth in a smash hit series of hilarious tales about primary school life from best-selling, award-winning creators! Packed with excellent black and white illustrations, this is the perfect longer read for newly confident readers.
Nothing is quite as it seems for Izzy and her friends, and the drama is always off the scale!
When a session of extreme dancing leaves Maisie in hospital with a broken leg, things take a turn for the weird! Strange noises in the ward at night, missing cuddly toys and a sandwich trolley that only ever has TUNA sandwiches.
Could Maisie’s leg be CURSED? If it is, and it DEFINITELY is, then everything is DOOMED!
Have you read these brilliantly funny Izzy and friends adventures?

Oh no! Maisie has broken her leg doing extreme dancing and her leg has been cursed while in the hospital! Another very funny book in the Baby Aliens Series.
It was fantastic!..A book focused on one of the main characters instead of some teacher..( Baby aliens got my teacher,My headteacher is a vampire rat and..ig..the Phantom Lollipop man?..) and book about other students (The Spy who Loved School Dinners and..ig..My baby brother is from outer space!..(or whatever it was called) ) It was about one of the people in the squad (?..) Seeing Francisco the Humpback Whale was so SWEET (?..) and who signed Francisco stomach?? (Was it in a book I haven’t read was it:
Icarus was ridiculous ( I read I couple of pages it seemed some type of book like To wee or not to wee)
There’s a werewolf in my tent!
There’s a yeti in the playground ( I also read a bit of it but I don’t like in a snowstorm someone famous would write on Maisie’s whale (UNLESS IT WAS THE YETI?!) )
The secret school invasion ( NO!! I can’t be that book is newer than this one )
The ‘curses’ writing on the cast must of felt so REAL like WOWZAH!! And one thing about Izzy’s group..there a bit..DELUSIONAL (kinda)..BUT I LOVE IT!! and Izzy I agree..MONKEYS SCREECHING ARE NOT PEACEFUL
This is the second time I have read The Broken Leg of Doom by Pamela Butchart. I have read all of her books ages ago and I just thought it would be nice if I read one of my favourite Pamela Butchart books again.
I love her books because they are so funny and all of the investigations are just really weird and wacky. It is really nice I find that it is from the perspective of Izzy (who is one of the "secret agency" people). This book makes you grin at basically every single sentence and laugh at basically every single paragraph.
I would recommend this book to people who love imaginative and humorous stories and cursed broken legs.
I thought it was great and would recommend it to anyone.
Funny and crazy would recommend for an easy read.
put me on the edge of my seat for a while. couldn't put the book down.
It was really interesting I really enjoyed it!
I liked maisie the best and yes I would recommend it to someone else.
I liked the part when the Doctor who isn’t actually a doctor went in the library to see what was going on and found children in a magic room. I thought this book was funny and I liked that there were some picture and big words!
So scary
I thought the book was really funny
I thought it was a very good book everyone needs to read it my favourite character was Jodi because she is the leader and I am usually the leader. It is a very good book I also liked Fransisco because of the funny name.
it was nice
I think this is an interesting book. My favourite character is Josie
I would recommend this book.
It was very funny! When Maisie fell over and broke her leg they went to the hospital and tried to call maisies mum but she didn't answer but that's not like maisies mum because she always picks up the phone and when her friends went to find masie they saw her cast and a boy came over and said that a curse was in side and I like masie the best because she is cute and clumsy and I would recommend this book to people that like comedy.
I love Maise
The broken leg of doom was not bad. Maisie had broken her leg ! They met a boy called Seb.
This book was a bit scary because it's about a curse. But I came over it. The reason I like this book is that Jodie, Izzy, Zach, and Mazie always jump to conclusions about stuff in the book There's a Yeti in the Playground they thought there was a Yeti in the playground because they heard sounds and it's fun to see what they think.
I really liked this book as it is so funny to see how wrong Izzy and her friends were. I really loved Seb's confident personality. I would recommend this to someone else immediately.
I absolutely loved this book it was awsome I read it loads of times again and again. My favourite character was Josie because she pretended to be sick so that she could stay overnight in the hospital with Maisy.
I really loved this book because it was a bit spooky 👻 but it always will be adventurous
I really liked this book it was funny and entertaining

It’s a fiction and messy is the character which I think is interesting.

Amazing wish it had a bit more oomph, though. Just a little bit more. Other than that, AWESOME
