This book was amazing! Michelle Paver is a fantastic author! This book drew me into a breathtaking world full of survival, heartbreaking and demons. I highly recommend this outstanding book to anyone into fantasy, sci-fi and adventure.
My favourite character was Darkfur, a wolf, because she was an interesting character. She was an unusual character with feelings that were hard to decipher. I would recommend reading the other books in the series first. 10-15 year old might enjoy this Stone Age adventure.
Great read!!!
I thought this book was full of twists and turns in the storyline and was surprising and exhilarating.
I liked the character Renn, as she was always ready to do what was right.
I would recommend this to ages 9 and up.
The fifth in the series of fiction, and another great escape into a world this planet knows about. Michelle Paver's books could be argued as a way of enabling the next generation how to think creatively about saving the planet. Torak's and Renn's world is spiritual, connected to the land and the adventures are just what we all would love.
Exciting adventure story from this excellent writer. Very well researched. Paints a wonderful picture of the far north. Year 6.
Story set in 6 thousand years ago, a memorable story about a hunter and a wolf. I recommend this book greatly as well as the Ancient Darkness series, which come before this.
Absolutely stunning! Probably the best in the series. The excellent thing about it is that, like the others in the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness, it can be read as an individual story. The best thing about the story is that you know it will end happily even if there are frightening moments.
The seventh long-awaited book in the Wolf Brother series, it follows a girl seeking answers about her bloodline and Mage power. When she is forced to abandon her pack, Torak follows her, where they meet a strange boy of the Narwhal tribe. But Torak doesn’t like him one bit...
Not my fave book but ok.
This book was amazing! The best Wolf Brother book so far.
Due to this fascinating book, I am now a new fan of Michelle Paver's books. The unexpected and sometimes devious twists are what make this such a glorious book. It's gripping plot makes it almost impossible to put down. This page-turner of a book had me hooked to it for almost 3 days! The action and twists made it a book without compare for me. I would recommend this book to everybody who is a fan of devious twists and action!
