I really like this book because it’s talking about a boy named Ahmed who came from a different country because there was a war where he lived and he and his four friends Were invited to tea by the Queen on Saturday, The 27th of October at 12 Noon and how there were different obstacles that they had to get through so they could get to the palace to see the queen but even though they got to see the queen all the answers to her questions that they gave her they had to keep a secret because they were top secret answers to the questions that they had asked her.
A quick read. I enjoyed it.
Interesting book
This is a follow up book to the Boy at the Back of the Class. There is a refugee boy called Ahmet who travelled to London in a small boat, but his Mum and Dad didn't make it to London, and his sister fell in the water and died. Ahmet couldn't save her. This book shows how the Queen invited Ahmet and his friends to Buckingham Palace for tea for being so brave and asking for the boarder gates to stay open. When they arrived at the palace there were lots of protestors who didn't like refugees. But a guard saved them and them made it for tea with the Queen and asked lots of questions. They couldn't tell anyone the answers!
It was a bit good but it didn't have many twists and turns
Yes i would recommend this to someone because it shows and tells us to be kind and polite to anyone
The book was too short but I guess that’s because it was a WBD free book. I really like the author, I have a couple of their books. It was a good adventure.
Mummy and Autumn read the story together for bedtime
I love this book because it carries on my favourite book.
good
I like Uncle Lenny’s taxi.
Interesting and great
I liked it because it's a book related to another book that I like, and it's about friendship and bravery
What I thought about this book exciting because a girl and Ahmet went to go to see the Queen. It is fiction and my best character is Ahmet and the girl because they felt so excited. It interested me because it is exciting to read books that people meets important people. I would recommend it to someone else.
This is a good book
Okay, we need to talk about this. Think about The Boy At The Back of the Class. Full of chapters, descriptive and has a storyline. This book did not meet my expectations at all. I really need more of a plot twist, and a functional storyline. Well done, you made a book that made me feel dissapointed.
I liked the characters names and that they are all friends.
I think this book was good because it taught me to be kind! There was a refugee Ahmet and he got bullied by the schools bully (Brendan). Just because he was a refugee this was very wrong of him. But luckily, Ahmet had a friends that support
-ed him. One day they all got an invitation to Buckingham palace. So the next morning they woke up and went to the place but something stoped them. Someone had took Ahmet special backpack from in the crowd as he was about to see the queen. He eventually, got it back but missed his tea time with the queen do you think he will have a change of meeting the queen. I recommend this book to everyone. My fav character was Ahmet because he was always kind
good.
I liked Armet the most because he was so happy that he got to meet the queen it made me very happy I would very much recommend this book to someone else because it is really good
It was a good book.
They were ten children and talking about meeting the queen while looking at their invitations. I thought this part was interesting in the story.
I liked the lord Chamberlain and the queen.
It interested me because they were meeting the queen.
Yes I would recommend this book.
good short of the book "the boy at the back of the class."
Most of this book is all about the lead up to meeting the Queen, not what the title says.
I thought it was a bit boring.
This book was cool because they went to see the queen.
It was a great and lovely book!
A super short sequel, produced for World Book Day 2020, to The Boy at the back of the class. Highly recommend to anyone who has read The Boy at the back of the class - a bonus story about the continuing efforts of a group of young children to do the right thing by their friend whilst overcoming prejudice and bullying.
Ahmet and his friends go to Buckingham Palace to meet the queen. My favourite character is Ahmet because he is brave and kind. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adven
It is a good book because it is about the main character and his friends going to meet the Queen Of England . I feel like I have read a geography book because it is about Buckingham Palace and the Queen . I like Ahmet the most because he isn’t a wimp . It interests me because going to the Queen’s palace for tea is VERY special . I would definitely with a capital d recommend this book to someone else.
The queen is coming!
