When famous pop star Misty Twiglet moves to Bumbleford she wants to meet roly-poly flying pony, Kevin – it’s so exciting – she promised him biscuits!
But when Kevin is captured in Misty’s back garden, things become serious and there isn’t a biscuit in sight. Kevin’s best friend Max and his sister Daisy must come to the rescue, and there’s no way they’re giving up on him without a fight.
Reviews
This is a funny book.
It is the second book in the series.
Kevin is so funny with his biscuit obsession!
when I read the story, it was so good that I was hungry.
A light hearted, entertaining book with interesting illustrations.
It was great
This is a very good book. my only concern is that if you are looking for a huge book this book is not as big as it look's.
I liked it when all the mythical creatures were on stage in Misty Twiglet's concert.
I love these two authors and the book didn't disappoint. I read with my 4 year old brother and he loved it just as much as me
I like the book because it has a plan to rescue Kevin and all his friends that are struck in Misty Twiglet's prison. I like the character 'Kevin' because he is cute.
It is a great book
Kevin, the roly poly flying pony was my favourite character. I didn’t like Baz Gumption because he kidnapped mythical creatures.
I liked how fat kevin is and how his wings are so small. How his mum does haircuts of mermaids and how his sister only likes spooky things.
I dont like how kevin got captured in the net
I liked that it had a flying pony in it. It was quite exciting because it had mythical creatures being kidnapped all over the place, and then they got rescued. I really want to read more books in this series!
More fun with Kevin, this time with a nice message about appearances being deceiving and about celebrity.
Best person is the role-poly flying pony!
I like that Kevin's owner accidentally gives Kevin away (but gets him back)
It was great but I do not like Baz gumption
I enjoyed this 2 book about Max and Kevin and a good fiction book.
I would recommend this book.
My favourite character was Kevin because he was so funny. I would recommend this book to all my friends
I enjoyed this fiction story and my favourite character is Kevin who loves biscuits. I would recommend this book to my friends.
Funny.
Not my favourite book because it was too similar to Pugs of the Frozen North and Oliver and the Seawigs (I really like both). But I felt this was too samey.
My favourite character was Kevin because he was a pony that could fly.I would recommend it to someone else.
Not what I would normally read as it is an easy read for me. I think it’s a good book but not interesting for me personally.
Overall 3/5
I like it when the guard tried to squish the kittens but it got across safely
This book is about a flying pony who gets captured by a pop star.
The best bit was when the weirdos managed to escape with the help of Max and Kevin
Continued adventures of Kevin. Lots of fun characters and lively illustrations. Engaging independent read and would read aloud well.
It is a funny book with a flying pony that ate lots of custard creams!
This was my favourite Kevin book because it was funny and I liked Baz. Baz was great bad guy and he was funny and mean.
Love the return of Kevin especially as this features some of my favourite characters from the other Reeve & McIntyre stories.
