LEONARD AND HUNGRY PAUL is the story of two friends who ordinarily would remain uncelebrated. They change the world differently to the rest of us: we try and change it by effort and force; they change it by discovering the small things they can do well and offering them to others.

As a book group, we absolutely LOVED this book. The gentle humour, the portrayal of two 'ordinary' lives, the pace - everything about it was wonderful. Reading it is like being hugged by someone in a warm, cosy jumper. We have recommended it to lots of readers outside the group and everyone else has loved it too. Deserves to be better known: a real hidden gem. Thank you, Ronan.
Absolutely loved this gloriously comfortable book about two lovely quiet blokes, who are good friends, quietly getting on with their very ordinary lives. It has a gentle, subtle humour that at times made me laugh out loud, but never at anyone else's expense. An absolute gem, highly recommended (unless you're into fast action page turners).
