This book is part of the prequel Mortal Engines. This book is full of mystery, exciting moments and adventures! The text is very rich and written in great detail so you have a very good idea of the surroundings and the characters too. I highly recommend reading the prequel in order as you should get to know Fever Crumb very well. I love sci-fi and how the author pictures the future. It's got some funny parts too especially talking about items from the past. It's good to know that the covers by Ian McQue tell a lot about the plot but without any spoilers! Philip Reeve is a very popular author in our household! We started reading books that he writes with the author/illustrator Sarah McIntyre and as my eldest grew older I started to offer her his other titles and I have read several books by him so far.
