A bright and uplifting celebration of cultural diversity and belonging, where all children are welcome in the classroom
‘If your little one is a little nervous about fitting in and whether they’ll belong at school, pick up All Are Welcome’ Barnes & Noble
No matter how you start your day,
What you wear when you play,
Or if you come from far away,
All are welcome here.
Follow a group of children through a day in their school, where everyone is welcome. A school where children in patkas, hijabs, baseball caps and yarmulkes play side by side. A school where students grow and learn from each other’s traditions. A school where diversity is a strength.
Warm and inspiring, All Are Welcome lets young children know that no matter what, they have a place, they have a space, and they are welcome in their school. Engaging lyrical text and bright, accessible illustrations make this book a must for every child’s bookshelf, classroom and library.

I think it's saying to all kids you are welcome at all schools and you will be welcomed.
I liked that it rhymes and it's colourful and detailed
Great book about diversity
I liked reading all the different languages for welcome. It is a fiction book. I would recommend this to a friend.
A beautiful, simple and meaningful picture/ story book with an important message to all. Favourite parts throughout but I like ' you have a place here, you have a space here' and 'our strength is our diversity'. A really valuable book to have at home and school.
Nice book
It shows it's not about if you're the same colour or not. It's about if you want to be best friends you can be and your colour does not matter.
Beautiful book; inclusive of all with a lovely rhyme. Lots of talking points on each page for children to engage with.
I like this book and the drawings.
Yes I would recommend it to someone else. I like it because it shows everybody that they are welcome everywhere
Good diversity book
I liked that it's like letting everybody in even if there different to each other.
I think that it's a small book but everyone has to read it. No matter if you came from faraway or you speak another language. But all of us will do great and we will have a break. All are welcome to school. This book is about every single child is welcomed to a lovely school. This book is factual and I will recommend it to my friends.

This is like me when I go to school. I like looking at all the different people. I’m different and it’s good to be different
Fiction book with delightful illustrations and rhyming text, suitable for KS1 and 2. Celebrating diversity and inclusivity, the story follows a group of children during the school day, where everyone from all walks of life, is welcome. No matter what clothes are worn, or what they eat, each child is welcome. The last page of the book translates the word, ‘Welcome’, into several languages.
Highly recommended.
I liked it because it sounded like a nursery rhyme.
I would recommended to someone else
Looking for great books to welcome children back to school, as well as ones that support explicit teaching of some of your values - and found this. Love it!
A warm, enjoyable book with lovely rhymes and a catchy rhythm throughout. Perfect for the beginning of the academic year to settle children in, constributing to establishing a safe, friendly and supportive classroom environment.
It is showing us we can be different and friends. It is set at school doing doing things together.
Such a beautifully written and illustrated book. This picture is highly powerful and shows how important and significant each and every person is in the world. I love how they use the school/classroom throughout the book so children can read and make a link. Such an important resource to be used in every primary school Classroom to remind students of how everyone is welcome and accepted.
I loved listening to this story! It’s shows that we all my be different but we are all welcome!
I like it when she goes to her bed with her funny monkey.
This book was great. A new girl was starting in my class and we read this book to learn about being kind to everyone.

This is a beautiful story about a group of children who are very different from one another but share in a learning journey as friends. It's a very special story with a very important message.
