Nothing is quite as it seems for Izzy and her friends, and the drama is always off the scale!
Izzy and friends are excited! The snow is falling fast and they’re hoping they’ll all be sent home early. But then they hear weird noises in the playground, and find a big footprint in the snow…

This is such an excellent series of books. Easy to read and so entertaining. Izzy and her friends are snowed in at school and the teachers won’t let them leave because the Beast from the East is on its way. Convinced this means there’s a yeti outside, the friends prepare a daring attempt to learn more about yetis by making their way to the portacabin library, in spite of the dangerous creature searching for them in the playground.
I loved how scary it was . I found it so funny they thought there was a yeti.
No! It’s Maisie’s mum! Trying to save Maisie and her friends from the snow! SO FUNNY!
This is a funny book about a yeti being in the playground when Izzy and friends are snowed in at school. I think other people would like reading this book
It's so funny especially when Mrs Sieth runs out of the school with one shoe and one foot.
The person I liked best was Maisie’s mum because she was the yeti and I would recommend the book for people who like adventures
So scary
It is an amazing book and I loved reading it
It was very fun and fictional my favourite part was when they met the yeti and become friends with him
I liked this book because everybody thought there was a yeti in the playground and called it the beast of the East but actually it was just Maisie's mum in a very white furry coat.
This is a very good book! It's an interesting story about being snowed in at school and them seeing a creature outside so they do research and find out how to capture it but in the end when they capture it it turns out to be Maisie's mum because she was worried about Maisie. I would definitely recommend this book!
I loved this book! There was good humour and an amazing storyline. I love Pamela Butchart books!
I liked Maisie's mum best because she was in a furry white coat but she looked like a yeti and Maisie's friends thought a yeti had captured Maisie. It was really funny.
I would recommend it to any Pamela Butchart fans.
In this book, Izzy and her friends, once again, have a great adventure where nothing is what it looks like. I would recommend this book.
the book was amazing and my favorite part was when the found out that it actually wasn't a real yeti. my favorite person was izzy
This author makes really good books. These books are really fun also.
They got snowed in. It was a very funny book . They all thought there was a Yeti outside ! But it was Masie’s Mum!!
I rated this book a 5 because it was funny how they taught there was a yeti in the playground because they saw huge footprints and heard weird sounds personally, I wouldn't blame them for thinking there was a yeti in the playground because of big footprints. I also liked this book because there is no violence in it.
Very funny I love this auther!
This is one of my favourites. It’s about a big storm and sign saying beast from east! An everyone was curious if it was yeti!!
I enjoy this series of books because they are about school life. Yes I would recommend this book.
This book was super funny with lots of twists and turns.
It's a fictional story with four children character's called Izzy Jodi Masie and Zach. They found what they thought was a giant yeti in there playground at the same time as a snowstorm.
This is a brilliant book for kids as it is an easy but really exiting read tearing you away from the world of reality. I would highly recommend this book to anyone 6 or over as it will make you laugh and make you hold your breath having to know what happens next. One of my favourite characters is a girl called Maisie because she always gives you many surprises as well as her family which is partly why on an extremely snowy day the beast from the east decides to come to her school playground and along with her friends she is determined to save the school from the terrifying beast but not everything goes to plan…
The book was very interesting and Maisie was my favorite character.
My best person is Izzy. I like the part of when there was a yeti. I like the way Pamela Butchart make up stories and turn it into a book .My advice for you would not stop reading and encourage more people to read.
I loved all the weird wailing noises
Lots of it is very funny and exiting
I liked the end of the story because the yeti wasn't actually a yeti it was actually Masies mum looking for her.
