An amazing book filled with mystery, have to keep reading but more unravels every book from the taylor and rose secret agents
This book is just genius. Katherine has such imagination that she takes me into the book, I can picture every scene. It is based on two storylines, one about an 18 year old girl called Sophie Taylor who is assigned a dangerous mission about a murder. The other storyline is set in Arnovia, where a prince and princess runs away from their home with a British agent who is under the disguise of their governess. The two stories connect almost as little hints are given. This book is full of thrill and mystery which definitely worth reading. I would recommend it to girls 11 to 14 years old.
full of excitement and adventure
full of excitement and adventure
This book encapsulates a cool sense of adventure with an intriguing hint of mystery and I would recommend for anyone who loves a detective story.
It is a very interesting story . I like it although the way that the men treat women is not fair (the girls always justify this ). It is a very interesting and complex story and I am definitely going to read more of the series.
it was so full of mystery
This was an amazing follow on from the Sinclairs Mysteries but apart from Lil and Sophie, the other friends aren't so included. It is still really good
This was a simply amazing book, exploring life of two women - Sophie Taylor and Lillian Rose. They're detectives in the early 19th century. This book explored important topics about women empowerment while engaging me with a fast-paced, mysterious plot! I would surely read this again!
Recommended age range would be: 10+
This fun and exiting Taylor and Rose detective agency story will make sit at the end of your seat with mystery galore! Follow Lil and Sophie into the world at Sinclairs department store in no other place but the marvellous London!!Plus meet new and spooky characters along the way!!
It was very exciting and dangerous I loved it
I liked this book because it was all about danger. When Anna and Alex are in danger of being kidnapped,Lil puts her life in danger to help them escape. When Sophie realises that the enemies are going to escape, she puts her life in danger to stop them.I liked Anna the best because she always looked out for Alex.
It is really interesting and my favourite part is when they Lil & Sophie meet at the race. It has really good plot and I would definitely recommend this book.
This book is so thrilling and dramatic! I would SO recommend to people my age! If you are younger or a bit squeamish, it might not be suitable for you. :( 5 STARS! GENIUS BOOK <3
Sophie Taylor was m6 favourite character because she flew in a plane because she was trying to catch the count.
I would reccomend it to my friends because they like mystery books aswell.
This is a fantastic book, I couldn't look away for a moment, my eyes were glued to the book.My favourite character is Lillian or she could be called something else...Well, I recommend this to someone who loves action, adventure and mystery.

It was exciting and joyful to read
This is the thrilling tale of private detectives Sophie Taylor and Lilian Rose as they find themselves on a mysterious case in Paris on behalf of the Secret Service Bureau! Set in 1911, this is a fast paced book full of intrigue and plot twists and Sophie and Lil are two wonderful heroines to explore Paris with.
I think this book is exciting but terryfiying it is ficton my favourite person is tilly
When Sophie and Lil are put on separate missions for their detective agency they aren't allowed any communication. Can they protect the world from evil clubs or will their undercover identity be discovered?
I recommend it to 8 to 13 year old children.
It was great to read about the characters I had liked so much from The Clockwork Sparrow. To fully understand this story it would have been better if I had read all of the series of The Sinclair Mysteries but I have only read the first one.
However I really liked this and the intrigue and sense of adventure was excellent.
This book was good and confusing. It included murder, mystery and aviation. It was set in different places.
I loved this book so much I am currently reading another book of hers [the painted dragon] i love how she writes.
Sophie and Lil save the day again. Paris, circus and secret service all make for a great read. I would recommend the whole series to anyone that likes action books.
Amazing
Taylor and Rose actually started in another series called The Sinclair Mysteries which are brilliant, also I recommend you read The Sinclair Mysteries first.
Taylor and Rose are brilliant for fans of Murder Most Unladylike.
It is great, fun and thrilling.
All aboard the train to Paris! The genre is mystery and suspense because it has murder, cliff hangers and detectives in it.
This was a fictional book, based on some real events and although the story was made up it was a page turning, very interesting read. I definitely give it five stars.
I like how the author added a made up country ! It was a very interesting how Lil and Sophie's paths met ! I would recommend to anyone who loves murder and crime stories !:)
I would definitely recommend this book to someone else. It is a page turner and really good book.
I adore murder mystery books!!! My fav bit in this book is where Anna and Alex-Prince and Princess of Arnovia, escapes Wilderstein castle, I also like the bit where Sophie goes to La Lune Bleue to try and find some clues!! My fav character is Sophie though I also like Anna and Lil [sort for Lilly] I would recommend to people who love Mystery and Murder!!
