Ever since Lexie’s mum vanished, her world hasn’t stopped spinning. A new home, a new school – even a new family but Lexie never gives up hope that her mum will come back and writes her letters every day to tell her all about her new life.
There’s plenty to tell – the new group of misfits she calls friends, the talent for music she never knew she had and the gorgeous boy with blue eyes and secrets to hide. But her letters remain unanswered and she’s starting to feel more alone than ever.
Lexie’s about to learn that sometimes you need to get lost in order to be found.
The first in a gorgeous new series from the bestselling author of the Chocolate Box Girls and the perfect next step for fans of Jacqueline Wilson.

It was good because it was very tense and there were a lot of surprises in it. Like them actually being able to save the libraries and meeting Ked Wilder.
It's really boring
interesting story but a tiny bit generic
It was a good book about never use anybody
I loved this book!!! I especially loved the addition of Jake Cooke from the chocolate box series!! He’s definitely my favourite character! Overall I’d say this is a good book for age 10+
This was such a good book! It was gripping, heart-felt, dramatic and full of love. Cathy Cassidy writes on a really good, gripping way and this book was no exception! I would recommend this book to anyone 10+
i love this book it is one of my all time favs so good age 9 or 10 plus
I liked Sammie, it was fiction. Yes I would recommend it
Bex has to be my favourite character even though most people will like Lexie, I think Bex has a hidden personality and a love for Lexie as she is always trying to protect her from Marley. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a plot twist or different emotions. I hope people read this book, it is worth it.
I thought I quite liked this book my favourite person is Lexie because her mother did not come back to her she still felt strong it interested me because I love all of Cathy Cassidy books and I especially love her front cover that she makes.
I enjoyed this book because it didn’t leave out all the troubles that Lexie suffered and it revealed Lexie’s true feelings towards her mother and everyone around her. My favourite character was Lexie because she really cared about the people around her no matter what secrets they head or what they looked like. I would recommend this book to teens who can relate to the experience.
It was good
I liked this book because it was really funny
I would recommend this book
thrilling
A heart-touching book with secrets and feelings. I love the way Cathy Cassidy expressed the characters feelings and thoughts! #lovelife :)
It has a lot of feeling in its words and tells a story; a sad one, but still a story.
I love this book to the moon and back! It's so great I mean I could burst.I would love ti recommend this to everyone.I love every single character. There is so much adventures!
Loved it. I mean I love all Cathy Cassidy books. This by far is one of her top 3.
I liked it was very intresting and was all about love and secrets.although Lexie had lost her mum she still loved her.
I think this book is quite upsetting at the start when Lexie realises her mother has gone missing but I would recommend this book to girls aged 11+. My favourite character from the book is Lexie Lawlor because after she has been through she's still determined to find her mother.
This was a great book!
I loved this book a lot. It was exciting but also sad at times.
Cathy Cassidy is my favourite author. I loved every bit of this book and recommend it.
This was an amazing book about how you can be a misfit, troubled or even gay and it won't matter. It was a sad, romantic, scary and happy book. Lexie is a great person as she struggels to forget the loss of her mum and how she abandoned her at the age of nine. I would 100% recommend this book to a boy or a girl as even though it sounds "girly" it is not. It us about a boy and a girl and their band. I would not recommend this book to people under eight as they might find it worrying or innappropriate to people being gay, getting itnto fights and boyfriends and girlfriends. It is an amzing book!
It was very sad when Lexie's mums leather alone and didn't come back. Lexie started a band called The Lost And Found.I recommend this for 10-13.
I completely loved this children's romance tale and felt like I was with Lexie through the story, and experienced her highs and lows. Her Mum's tragic story effected me as I read page after page. I would recommend this to anyone who likes these types of stories, is a tween (10-12) and needs something new to read.
I love this book as it is about a girl whose mother never came back from the shops and she experiences different emotions about this. She goes from missing her mother to accepting that her mother might not be coming back.
The main character is Lexie Lawlor and she lost her mum. She goes on an adventure hoping to find her mum and writes her letters in hope to find her. Her mum was going out of the house, and never came back.
pure love went into this book
This book is amazing because it has emotion, action and typical life all jumbled up together to form a perfect story. You feel the pain when the main character is either hurt on the outside or the inside (although mainly the inside) and you feel like you've been absorbed into the world of Lexie and her muddled up life.
