A sci-fi thriller with a killer twist from the beloved author of The Next Together series. Romy Silvers is the only surviving crew-member of a spaceship travelling to a new planet, on a mission to establish a second home for humanity.
Alone in space, she is the loneliest girl in the universe until she hears about a new ship which has launched from Earth – with a single passenger on board.
A boy called J. Their only communication is via email – and due to the distance between them, their messages take months to transmit. And yet Romy finds herself falling in love. Can you fall in love with someone you’ve never met, never even spoken to – someone who is light years away?
But what does Romy really know about J? And what do the mysterious messages which have started arriving from Earth really mean?
Sometimes, there’s something worse than being alone…

Really good.
Very interesting premise for this YA book. Plot/character dwindled towards the end but started really strong.
This book had me on the edge of my seat! It starts out feeling safe, with an adventure / romance vibe and a likeable character in Romy. After about 200 pages, the pace changes and you can feel the tension build up until it explodes! James twists and turns the narrative so many times at the end, you just don't know when the next shocking reveal is coming from. Utterly engaging and a great YA read for those who love thrillers. It's definitely a book that lulls you into a sense of security, then whisks you off into unexpected territory! Very enjoyable.
This is the best book I've ever read!
This book was very gripping and I enjoyed it very much.It was a fiction, however I did not have a favourite character. I would recommend this to people who live a gigantic plot twist. The plot twist was a bit disappointing though, for people who prefer a happy, romantic ending.
this book is about a girl who was born in the Infinity-a spaceship- which is meant to go to Earth II. her parents and the sleeping astronauts died because of a failed mission on the spaceship a few years ago and she is all by herself eversince. until Earth launches a second spaceship - the Eternity. read the rest to find out more.
this is a partly tragic story
Bit soppy at the beginning luckily gets to the blood ect. i had been promised quite well.
