Gorgeously illustrated and with a classic feel, this is a brilliantly funny story of a rabbit and a bear whose friendship is tested by a very noisy woodpecker … Ideal for readers moving on from picture books.
‘A perfect animal double-act.’ (The Times, Book of the Week)
‘PEACE AND QUIET,’ shouts Rabbit. ’THAT’S ALL I WANT.’
Owch. He’s hurt his own ears again.
What with Bear’s snoring, and a BANGBANG! noise from up in the tree, Rabbit knows that Something Simply Has To Be Done.
But high in the branches, perhaps Bear can show Rabbit how to see the world from a different place …
From novelist and playwright Julian Gough, and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, this is a tale of friendship, wisdom, and how to be REALLY NOISY.
’Rabbit’s Bad Habits is a breath of fresh air in children’s fiction, a laugh-out-loud story of rabbit and wolf and bear, of avalanches and snowmen. The sort of story that makes you want to send your children to bed early, so you can read it to them.’ Neil Gaiman
Shortlisted for the Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Award and the Children’s Book of the Year in the Irish Book Awards

I think Rabbit really changed his ways in this book. bear seems very kind.
Rabbit starts off fighting with the world but in the end he likes woodpecker and his noise. In fact he wants more woodpeckers.
This book is a easy read I would recommend for about 6-10 year olds it's got lots of funny fings in such as rabbit keeps sitting on a tortoise for a seat the book also has fairly big letters that helps if your eyesight is about 1+(close up).
Another great book from the rabbit & bear series. Lovely story with fabulous illustrations.
I love these books!
I liked both of the main characters, rabbit and bear because bear was kind and made rabbit less annoyed. Rabbit was annoyed at the pest because it was making a loud noise
I thought this book was very funny. My favourite character was Rabbit because he accidentally kicked Tortoise. The funnniest bit was when Rabbit got hit by a pinecone when he threw it up at Woodpecker. I would recommend this book to other people because they might find it funny, too.
I liked the first Rabbit & Bear story more because I love building snowmen
Rabbit and Bear has a amazing story.
It has 3 main characters their names are Rabbit,Bear and woodpecker
The funny part is where tortoise is buried under a pile of leaves and you can only it’s head so Rabbit screamed he thought it was a snake.
I liked how the woodpecker repeated words, like the sound of her peck peck pecking.
It could have a bit more adventure and be bit longer
I thought it was quite funny, but the rabbit was really annoying .
Super dude
Hmm. This is a sweet little picture book for kids, good for kids aged 3-9 in my opinion, kids older than that will just find it cheesy and silly.
good book about your mind ,body and brain
It was really really good because it was funny.
Not as good as the first book
Very funny
It was funny because bunny was annoyed at the wood pecker for making too much noise
I liked it when tortoise talked really slowly, and I liked all the other funny bits too. I liked the story very much and I can’t wait to read the next one!
I really liked this book
I really liked the funny Rabbit.
This book was very good. The book was very interesting and I enjoyed reading it.
ok I only read one book but I think its funny
My favourite part is when they have a party.
Nicee
i love the books that they make it is really my type
It is funny that the rabbit is always grumpy!!! But the bear always calms him down.
When Rabbit is driving himself crazy and getting angry with the world, Bear shows him that things don’t always have to work that way. 💕
I loved this book because I love the idea of being mindful and calm
