I was surprised that the cat didn't eat the mouse.
I liked it because it was funny as Kipper thought the cat was going to gobble the mouse up but they were playing hide and seek!
Its too funny because just like squeaky mouse .Kipper is much bigger the the mouse

I like it when the mice tricked Kipper "hide me Cat will gobble me up' and then he said to Kipper that we are playing hide & seek.
I like ti because it's funny when Mouse and cat tricks kipper.
Both Hippo and Kipper are good books but Hippo was more of learning and Kipper is funny so both 5 stars and I will tell my friends to read it.
