Izzy and her friends hate school dinners. And they hate the shepherd’s pie in particular. And now something strange seems to be happening to the dinner ladies. They’re wearing new hats, they’re cooking new food (still horrible) and there are lots and lots of new rules. But it’s when Maisie is taken away by seagulls that they KNOW! The dinner ladies have been taken over and they are about to ATTACK! More laugh-out-loud antics from awardwinning author-illustrator team, Pamela Butchart and Thomas Flintham. School has never been so much fun!

Izzy and her friends have a new head dinner lady and since she arrived the seagulls have been increasing in number. They’re pretty sure the dinner ladies are demons and that they’re trying to poison them! I really like this series and I’ve been giving most of them 3 stars which in retrospect might be a bit harsh. This one gets an extra star, purely for the joke about Nigella Lawson though!
REALLY FUNNY! My favourite bit is when she’s actually trying to BAN shepherds pie! She’s (the dinner lady) not a demon!
I loved it and thought that it was funny and that no one could not like it especially the seagulls.
I thought it was weird that the demon dinner lady was a little girl’s mum.
I like the fact that they thought that the dinner ladies were demon not different.
I recommend this to my friends because it's really funny. My favourite character in this is Amy's mum because she's the one who is trying not to serve shepherd's pie any more. My favourite bit about the book is when Izzy, Zach, Maisie and Jodi think that the dinner ladies are demons, but they are wrong.
i love it how maisy is always fainting but jodi, izzy and zack still include her! i love how at the end its always just a miss understanding!
I like that the dinners ladies turned evil, it’s a funny book that’s easy to read and I think other people would enjoy reading it
These books always make me laugh. I would recommend to other kids aged seven and up.
I thought this was a good book because although it was scary and really creepy it brought the book together and made it really funny!
this is a fiction book.
Very humorous book. Some shocking parts. My favourite character was Amy because she proved her friends wrong. Maisie was good because she stood up for the dinner ladies. Highly recommend.
its is a great book and it is quiet mysterious i love it because it makes me want to read on because its so interesting i would definitely recommend this book.

This book is AWESOME! I loved this!
I really liked this book and my favourite character was Maisie. She was really funny and at one point she had a really big present and it was full of glitter. The house was covered in glitter! Everyone was screaming and Maisie fainted! The dinner ladies looked like the had glowing eyes but they weren’t actually demons in the end!
It was really exciting and full of adventure.
My favourite character was the dinner lady.
It's a really good book
It was about demons and I loved it

I found the story fun and hilarious. The title made me curious. I think the character I liked best was tiny Maisie because she was funny.
