The bear was too big for the chair and that was funny. The little mouse wanted to get the chair back but the bear didn’t let him seat.
So he was sad and he had good idea and he went to the bear’s bed.
Finally the bear came back to the mouse.
my favorite character is the bear because he was bad at first but in the end he gave the mouse a chance. i learnt that you have to give people a turn because it is the right thing to do.
I like it’s funny because the mouse said “I’m done now” and in the end the bear found a mouse in its bed “it’s not fair”
I recommend this book it was really funny. Especially when the mouse screams, he’s cheeky.
found this book quite short but amusing.

I enjoyed the rhyming and the ending where the mouse was in the bear's house. I really like that we can listen to the audio version while I get to turn the pages. I've listened to it three times already today!
The mouse keeps shouting, there’s a bear on my chair. I thought that was really funny.

A funny book with a grumpy mouse and a lazy bear.
I like the little mouse in the story. He jump out in his underwear, it is so funny!
It was very very very very good because I liked the mouse when the bear couldn't get him off the chair
It's funny rhyming book. Even easy to remember by heart.
Comical story including bears chairs and a whole lot of laughter.
I found 'There's a Bear in my Chair' to be an easy and humorous read. This book illustrates the frustrations of friendships and shows the importance of sharing. I think it teaches that anyone can be friends. There is an academic nod to endangered animals which is a great touch. It is as if the grumpy mouse is learning about the polar bear as we too should be. The whole story rhymes beautifully, which is perfect for keeping a young audience captivated as are the bold illustrations. I would happily read this with a class. The wordless pages are a lovely opportunity for the kids to stop, think and ask questions. It is ideal for teaching the 'air' sound and learning spelling variations, and I think a great classroom activity would be to get pupils to imagine up the sequel 'There's a Mouse in my House'.
The rat
