Dork Diaries: Once Upon a Dork

What makes this book stand out is how Nikki grows throughout the story. She learns about confidence, being herself, and how to stand up for what’s right—even when things aren’t going perfectly. Her friendship with Zoey and Chloe is as strong as ever, and I seriously love their group dynamic. It’s funny and feels really real, like you can totally imagine being part of their squad.

The story is about Nikki, a girl who gets smacked right in the head with a dodgeball—ouch! After that, she starts imagining she’s in a crazy, silly world where everything is weird and wild. It’s like her brain is on a super funny rollercoaster! Nikki has to deal with a super annoying mean girl named Mackenzie who thinks she’s the queen of the school (spoiler: she’s not). And then there’s Brandon, Nikki’s crush, who is kinda cute but also totally confusing. The book is full of goofy drawings and diary secrets that made me laugh so much, I almost snorted!

I liked Niki Maxwell the best in this book because she shows anything is possible. I would recommend this to someone else.

After wicked Mackenzie Hollister threw a Dodgeball at Nikki she passed out and had a great adventure of good, evil, scary and fun. I'll totally recommend this to someone else.

Was disappointed in this book I expected it to be as good as the others but I just couldn’t get into it.

This is really amazing book I am happy to of found it on borrow box since I was going to read it in school back in December but it went missing this is all about when mean girl Mackenzie Hollister throws a dodgeball at Nikki Maxwell very hard and said “eat rubber DORK” then Nikki passed out and had a dream about a wacky fairy tale first as she was falling she had hit the wicked witch of the west Mackenzie and after she meets the munchkins then she later met the good witch of the north aka the fairy godmother Brianna and like all people she knew from her world were fairy tale characters! Well not all of the but I will name ones I have not mentioned Chole as goldielocks Zoey as little red riding hood Marcy Violet and someone else as Princesses Victoria Steel as the queen of harts the school newspaper person (sorry I forgot how to spell his name) Brandon as the prince the principal as the wizard of oz but in Nikki’s dream it was the wizard of odd. I also have somthing say for cat and dork diaries lovers that me and my friend are making a book series called cat diaries!

This is amazing. Not only does it have drama but it’s also got loads of different tales in it like the 3 bears , Cinderella, etc.I recommend this to an early reader who loves tales.
