Blood Brothers tells the tragic tale of twin brothers who are born into a large working-class family, and the consequences of one of them being adopted by a neighbouring middle-class family. This is the original version of the play, initially commissioned for performance by the Merseyside Young People’s Theatre Company.

i would rate this book 5 out of 5 because it is phenomenal book.
Blood Brothers, a musical by Liverpudlian playwright Willy Russell, revolves around twin boys (Mickey and Edward) who are separated at birth and brought up in completely different environments in the city.

Mickey is brought up with his seven older siblings by his struggling single mother, Mrs Johnstone. His twin brother, Edward, however is brought up as the only child of the wealthy Lyons family, who live nearby, after Mrs Lyons persuaded Mrs Johnstone to hand over one of her twins at birth. Mickey and Edward don’t meet each other until they’re seven years old, but immediately become best friends and blood brothers. The bond continues when the boys are teenagers and both live in the countryside, despite them both being in love with Mickey’s neighbour Linda. However, as they get older, the huge difference in their backgrounds pulls them apart and eventually leads to their tragic deaths.
I would recommend anyone interested in a storybook to read this book!!

Blood Brothers is a musical with book, lyrics, and music by Willy Russell and a story that revolves around two twin boys Mickey and Eddie, who were separated at birth. Mickey lived with his biological mum who was poor and Eddie lived with a wealth family. I Would definitely recommended with book to someone who loves romantic novel with a bit of drama.

The book I have been reading is Blood Brothers by willy Russell. This book is based in the 1980s. I chose this book because I like reading play scripts and books based in the past. My favourite part was when Mickey and Sammy find out there twins.Sammy and Mickey were separated when they were born. They met at the park and became best friends. At the end Sammy threatens to shoot someone if his mum didn't tell him the truth. I rate this book 5 out of 5. I don't recommend this book to young children but I recommend this to children age 10 or over.
