Gently and sensitively written, Minaret follows the ups and downs of Najwa's life as she navigates political instability, sexism, racism and class issues along with issues of religious, spiritual and personal identity. It's also a really good story! A beautiful, subtle and thought provoking #Book set in Khartoum (Sudan) and London. Highly recommended.
