It was very good because you could never guess what was coming next in the story.
I really enjoyed this book as it is an adventure one. It really interested me as i would like to see them artefacts and go on that adventure. I would like a second version of this book. I rated it five out of five. I would recommend it to people who like adventures. It would be good for people over six or maybe seven. Kids will hopefully enjoy it like i really did.

Looking for a book full of adrenaline, fear, and knicker chains? :) This is the book for you! Join Jack and his Grandpa on an adventure of a lifetime! Escaping Twilight towers is easy ( sort of )! Flying a Spitfire is effortless! David Walliams is a good author and this is one of the best books I have read!
This book is funny and sad
This book is funny and Mt favourite character is grandpa and all the adventures that he has. The book is fiction and it was a good story
I loved it so much and I love what happens in the epilogue
I recommend
It was super great
It was a interesting book and very nice.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Raj is my favourite character as he is in all the David walliams books and I find him very funny. I would recommend children read this book
The story was exciting and engaging. Interesting to learn about some information on World War 2.
Good
I like this book because it's about an escape on a plane!
This book takes me off on a zooming adventure to a different planet, in the world of reading. It was a great story and I loved that it linked to world war 2.
My favourite part of the story was when they got the plane to work and the police chased them.
I gave this story 3 stars because I'm not really interested in war, planes and cars.
amazing
I liked the part when Granpa and Jack rammed the tank into the wall of the museum.
Super!
A really good storyline about Jack and his grandpa escaping from twilight towers. However, there are a lot of World War 2 references that I do not really understand.
I would recommend this book who likes funny stories.
SPOILER ALERT
In the end, Jack and his grandpa escapes and he goes up, up and away to the skies in the Spitfire.
I love grandpa he’s crazy and funny like my grandad. Everyone should read this book I love David Walliams.
I thought that it was really funny and my favourite part was the plot twist at the end where all the nurses are actually male. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
Because this book showed that you can do anything even if you are very old and this book showed that if you try and keep on going then you will succeed in what you were trying to do.
This book is amazing and full of funny stories and keeps you laughing out loud all the time. I love that David brings such humour to his writing for my age and his stories just make you want to read more and more of his books. If you struggle reading, get a book with humour with good stories that you can laugh and learn. Lots of tricky funny word.
I like the way the boy follows his dreams
I enjoyed the book. I liked grandpa the best. My favourite bit is when they escape from twilight towers in a coffin. I would really recommend this book.
They did escape.
David Walliams is one of my favourites
This book was OK it isn't my favourite though, because nothing the plot line didn't really move fluently
