There is only one William. This tousle-headed, snub-nosed, hearty, lovable bundle of mischief has been harassing his unfortunate family and delighting his hundreds of thousands of admirers since 1922.
Whether he’s meant to be babysitting, putting on a show with his trusty gang of friends, the Outlaws, or meeting his faithful dog, Jumble, William Brown always has a new scheme up his sleeve. His intentions are good but nothing ever quite goes to plan in this hilarious collection of eleven stories about everyone’s favourite troublemaker.

I really liked this book because William is very cheeky and he gets into lots of mischief. I recommend this book to someone who likes getting into trouble.
Taking into consideration that this book is 100 years old, it is enjoyable, with humorous moments and funny characters. I enjoy the ‘everyday’ plots that are not sensationalised or wrapped in fantasy as the realism makes it more relatable as a reader. However, the chapters end abruptly and often the storylines are not seamlessly cohesive.
Hilariously real and a thrilling novel, I found it hard to put down!
Very funny
very funny, William always try to help but ended up in trouble.
William is a boy with his own logic, who pedantically questions every rule and sets out to break most of them. The twelve short stories are hilarious, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it is an easy read. The author uses some sophisticated vocabulary and you might need the dictionary close by. I would recommend this book for teenagers.
