From Colleen Hoover, the #1 Sunday Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us, a heart-wrenching love story that proves attraction at first sight can be messy.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realise they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realise almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Good book, but not as good as her other books! Bit slow. And I don’t like how it’s all written from miles perspective 6 years ago, and not until right at the end is it written in his perspective as now.

Tbh the book is great but the way Miles is wayyy to obsessed with Rachel (his ex) is a big red flag. It’s all Rachel Rachel Rachel and how much he loves her. It’s a bit too much. Yes Tate and Miles do end up getting together after he gets closure but why would it take so long to do that even after 6 years. Yes he did loose his child and his first love I get it but he was too obsessed with his past that he didn’t even acknowledge Tate and just used her for sex, to get his mind off of his past. It’s all quite stupid to be honest. It’s a good read but people believe that the only bad person is Rachel but Miles is too. Tate was obviously too in love to see the big red flag Miles was. Miles did end up finally loving Tate but his emotions were too much. I know it was hard for him but he should’ve opened up to Tate when he started having feelings for her because he lead her on for too long and only went back after three people convinced him to go to Tate. That’s not real love. If he really loved her deep down then he would’ve gotten the closure from Rachel when he started falling for Tate and then could’ve been with Tate quicker and without all the hurt she went through. And Rachel was a bit of a yk because she gave all the pain she was feeling to Miles and he held on to it for six whole years. Miles didn’t deserve that he lost someone he loved so much too but Rachel was obviously selfish and blamed it all on him. Rachel had no right to just move in without saying anything to Miles. In my opinion both Miles and Rachel are bad but Rachel is obviously the worst. She got angry at him for getting her pregnant then got even angrier for losing her son even if it was his fault that happened. She should’ve given him closer but oh well. Tate deserves someone better than Miles even if they are happy now.
