Elizabeth Allen is spoilt and selfish. When she gets sent to Whytleafe boarding school, she is determined to be The Naughtiest Girl in The School, and she is SHOCKED to hear that the children dealt with the naughty children. Surely this wasn't right? Elizabeth gets in trouble for many things at the weekly School Meetings, where the children decide on punishments for the others. When Elizabeth asks the School Meetings if she can go home at half term of She is good, the School Meetings agree. But after weeks of actually enjoying herself before the half term Elizabeth doesn't want to go home. She finds the strength to admit that she was wrong, Whytleafe is a lovely place. And when her parents visit at half term, they are shocked to find such a sweet, polite Elizabeth. This is only one of the parts of this book. There are other mysteries in it, too, like how Joan loved her mother but thought her mother didn't like her. When she falls ill, she discovers the truth, her twin brother had died from illness when he was younger and her mother had been so wrapped up in it She had forgotten she still had Joan. However, Joan's mother comes to Joan when she herself is ill and loves her. When she is well again Joan and Elizabeth are the best of friends. My favourite character is Elizabeth Allen, The Bold Bad Girl. My favourite part is where Elizabeth wants to stay at Whytleafe. The saddest part was when Joan was ill. I was happy when she was better. I recommend This book 8+.This book has made me laugh, cry, and cheer. I recommend This book to any adventure, boarding school, or mystery lover! Enid Blyton is the best!

It was the most amazing fiction book I read this year. It was all about caring, sharing and honesty. All these morals made it the best book ever. It was about a girl called Elizabeth Allen who was the meanest kid in the school but soon became the kindest and best. My favourite character was Elizabeth Allen because of her good heart. I highly recommend this book for everyone.

I liked this book. Elizabeth was funny and naughty but at one point she got a bit not funny and started becoming good. I’ve just started number two and it is getting a lot better again.

My favourite character was Elizabeth Allen. I really like this book because, the story of the naughty girl becomes a better person by the end of the story. This book teaches you that being naughty is not the way to get what you want and that's a very important lesson in life!

I think that the naughtiest girl in the school is a fantastic book. This is because it has a lot of twists, turns and things that you do not expect. This is a fiction book and probably my favourite character was the main character, Elizabeth. This is because at first she started of really bad and naughty, but then realised that being bad will make you and other people sad and unhappy, so she became happy and kind which I think is much better than bad. I would recommend this book to 8+ year olds. This is because I do not think that any people under 8 will understand it.
