Wuthering Heights is a good book but a bit hard to follow. It is quite a sad story and the characters are very unique.

A great classic by Emily Bronte and infact one of my favourite literature classics. A great read for young adults with a very gripping story.

Good book, I don’t have a favourite character, but my favourite part was when they found a boy starving on the roads and they saved him. I will recommend to my friends

Depressing, very depressing. At least it has a relatively happy ending.

A short version of wuthering heights by Emily Brontë.
I liked this because it was exciting. A story told by a lady’s maid.

My all time favourite book, love the gothic romanticism. The brooding Heathcliff and the descriptions of the landcape

I liked nelly the most because she tells good stories and she looks after many characters in the book.

This has been my favourite book that I have read throughout the summer holidays. I thought this was a brilliant story which was sad in parts but had a happy ending. The descriptions of the locations made you feel like you were really there.
Cathy was my favourite character because she was kind even though she had been through hard times.
I would definitely recommend this book to other readers.

I know this is a classic and lots of people say it's their favourite book but I struggled. Seemed drawn out and melodramatic to me. Came to mean morer when i visited Haworth recently but I can't help thinking its time has been and gone. Sorry!

Well written, but violent

This book is a hard read, not only the story line and the mix up of character names, but with the old English language written. I would only recommend this book for someone who is looking to challenge themselves with a book. once it gets on to the second half of the book it becomes a lot faster paced and interesting to read.

Quite the beautifully written classic. Furthermore, I also found it to be appealing to a younger age group, because the characters are entirely three dimensional and riveting.

Wuthering Heights is hard to read and understand at first, this is because the story starts at the beginning where the tenant is being told the story of Heith Cliffe by Kelly (the house maid). The language used in this book is very complex, therefore to understand it what is happening you may have to research the meaning of certain words.
Fiction.
Heathcliffe is my favourite character, although he may be seen as a blunt, grumpy old man by some, I can empathise with his situation. Also, he is very passionate, my favourite scene within the book is when Catherine dies and Heathcliffe expresses himself through an internal monologue to Kelly.
If it was factual, it would interest me because it allows us to understand how class can really divide people and cause conflict. It also shows how it can affect people in different ways and what the end result may lead to which is maliciousness and spitefulness.
YES!!

moody book with frustrating characters. Told through the eyes of the Housekeeper

This novel is truly haunting and put's you at the edge of your seat , it is complicated but truly describes what life would have been like for a third class and first class person in the Victorian Era. I enjoyed this novel because the characters kept changing their minds and one of the character truly proved that no matter how much yous suffer you can always fix it , as he comes back years later as a wealthy man. I did not give this book a five star because it was quite complicated and difficult to keep up the situations and problems in the novel. However it is interesting as the emotions of the characters go into depth.

Its unimaginable that a young girl in 19th century could have written this master piece. The passion exhibited by the characters and the style of writing truly remarkable.
