This book is a great example of helping others in need a great use of Micheal morpugos imaginative touch which we have seen in a number off his pieces including running wild and the description of will. Overall this a great book of all literacy terms such as alliteration,metaphors,similes and expanded noun phrases.aim this book to ages 8and above well done Micheal morpugo

Accessible version of Beowulf but kept Spirit of alliteration. Descriptive and gory

A classic and adventurous tale of a warrior and king.

I loved this short book. It was a quick read - actually more like three short stories - telling the ancient tale of Beowulf, the Scandanavian hero and king of Anglo-Saxon legend. Originally an epic poem written in Old English, Michael Morpurgo's retelling is both engaging and lyrical. His writing style hints at the antiquity of the stories and he has reproduced the emphasis of the original on alliterative language. Masterful.

I really like the story. My favorite character is Grendel the sea hag. I would recommend It. The story has lots of alliteration.

This book made my spine chill. It had three parts to it;the first one about Grendel and Beowulf,the second about Beowulf and Grendel's Mum and the last part about a dragon and Beowulf,but in this part Beowulf dies. Personally, Michael Morpurgo is one of my favourite characters.

I didn't really understand of wiat was going on.

I didn't really book because it was a bit boring .This book is not a page turner.

I would recommend this book 8+ if your not screamish, this book can be a bit gross! I rated a 4 star because it's amazing for its book style!! If you like overcome a monster books, this is your right choice! Micheal Morpurgo is on of my favourite authors just because of this book!! Highly recommend this!!

Michael morpurgo is the best author ever

I like Beowulf because he has power and he destroyed Death dragon of the deep.

I think you should read this book because it is quite exiting
