Animal Tales

I have been reading this book to my six and four year old at bed time. They love animals and have thoroughly enjoyed the stories. They particularly liked The Guard Dog, as it reminded them of our dog who passed away last year.

Didn't enjoy this book too long

I think animal tales is good because the first story in it is called 'all because of Jackson' and I think it's funny! And I think that 'hairy Hezekiah' is funny too, because he escapes from the zoo. And when he went into the girls toilets, a lady screamed for her life! I didn't like 'horse pie' because one of his friends got turned into a pie by the horse pie maker. As well I wasn't that keen on 'the guard dog' because he barks really loudly and everyone doesn't go near that cage because they don't want to get barked in their ear. 'The cat lady' was the best one because she found a good little girl named Lucy, and she helped the cat lady and her cats clean up and cook dinner for the cats and the cat lady.

Five amazing tales.. my favourite one was Hairy Hezekiah, because I really like the name! My favourite character in the whole book was probably The Catlady because I thought she was crazy having that many cats! You should read this book because it's exciting, adventurous and hairy - because all of the animals are hairy!

I think if you are a animal lover you will love this book of 5 story's.
