The Gruffalo

A lovely, by now possibly a classic of modern literature for children,book which most of the children know by hand and like to come back to.The rhymes and pictures take you for an adventure into the wood.A non-fictional story, that even adults like.I don't think thos books needs recommendation as it speaks for itself and the volume of copies sold each year,proves its popularity.

Absolutely LOVED this book! One of my all time favourites for sure!

Who doesn’t love the gruffalo? This is a class favourite every day! I find myself telling the story even when walking the dog. Pretty sure I know it word for word by now 😂

A great book for children, lovely illustrations and easy to repeat language. A must for all to read.

This children's fiction book is a firm favourite of mine. I love the characters and that the story rhymes but not too much. My favourite part is when the mouse turns the table on the Gruffalo.
If you've never read this please do it's a must and hopefully spark your love of Julia Donaldson.

I read this story to my little sister and the next day we went to a local forest and found the gruffalo! My favourite part was when the gruafflo ran away from the mouse because I thought that was funny.

It was good. My favourite character was the Gruffalo. I liked the end because the Gruffalo ran away when the Mouse said he liked Gruffalo crumble.

The Gruffalo was a little scary!

I like the rhymes and I like that the Gruffalo has purple prickles all over his back. I like the pictures a lot. I like the mouse best.

I !liked this book. Maybe there isn't any Gruffalo in Sherwood Forest because Robin Hood and his Merry Men got them all!

I like the gruffalo book because a mouse put a trick on a snake,a fox,a owl and the gruffalo.My favouite person in the story is the mouse because everyone liked to eat him in the woods.It inerest me because Julia Donaldson used many new words.I would recommed this book to my friends.

All the animals in the wood want to eat mouse but mouse says he is on his way to meet the gruffolo. He describes the gruffolo and then he meets the actual thing.

Then he tricks the gruffolo by saying all the animals in the wood are scared on him

I like this book but my mummy likes it even more than me. I really like the rhyming words in this book. I would definitely recommend this book for children to read

I loved the Gruffalo because the other animals wanted to eat the mouse but didn't as the mouse was clever.
