It was a book that I couldn’t put down!
I would rate the book 27/5 but I can’t, I love this series so much and the second series as well. My favourite character is Spitfire -a dragon- as he is cheeky and helpful- so long as he gets a good breakfast- and enjoys spending time with his master and mother- Septimus and the dragon boat respectively. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
This was a great finale to the Septimus Heap series and overall is a great ending as together they must destroy the ancient two faced ring which has two Darke wizards hiding inside, and stop the ring's reign of terror.
I liked when they put the wizards back in the ring. Then they denatured the ring. I hope theme are more Septicemic Heap books.
This book is the end of one of the best series I have ever read and I have read many. This is a very EVENTFUL and MAGICAL series that has changed the normal world. With dragons, wizards, witches and other pieces of the supernatural that raps around this mind bending tale. This is the tale of Septimus heap the magical apprentice and extraordinary wizard. This changed everything. This book and series is recommended for all magical book readers. This will change you.
This is an amazing way to end the series, and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books. Alls well that ends well!!

Settings,Marcia and Marvellous are trying to destroy the evil two faced ring. But the two faced ring takes over Edmund and Ernold heap.
