I read this to my little sister.
This book makes me laugh.
Daddy remembers it from childhood so we have a good time reading it together.
My favourite part is when the bread lands "Kersplat!"
The rhyming is helping me to learn to join in when reading.
I liked the baker best because he was the one who had the idea of making thee giant jam sandwhich. I would recommend this book to someone else.
It was funny that the wasps got trapped
I enjoyed this book and I liked when the wasps got stuck in the jam! When they made it looked yummy but I wouldn’t like mine with wasps on it!
Great book
It's good :)
It is so fantastic because I liked the pictures of the giant jam sandwich!
A brilliant classic which I have recently enjoyed again as a class teacher. Great for teaching sequencing and instructional writing with very detailed illustrations too!
I love the book. I like the birds eating the sandwich with the wasps in it.
I thought it was so so. Because I didn't like the wasps, but I liked how they trapped the wasps.
I really loved this book, the funny bit was when the wasps got trapped in the jam and were squashed in the sandwich. I liked the bit when they were making the dough best.
I would tell my friends to read it!
I love the 400 million wasps and the giant sandwich once its made.
I liked it when the wasps got squashed in the sandwich.
I love this book because I love the bit where the wasps get trapped in the giant jam sandwich. I also like the bit where the birds flew off with the sandwich and feast on it for 100 weeks.
Very good
The people are very intelligent
I like it because its funny and it rhymes!
I like the artwork in the giant jam sandwich it is very good and I like the way it was painted or drew. My favourite bit was when the wasps stung Lord Swell on his fat bald pate..
I liked watching them make the loaf of bread and then when they cut the slices. It was fun watching them make the sandwich which trapped the wasps.
The farmer is funny!
I like it because 4 million wasps come into town and they keep on annoying the villagers.
It was so funny! It was fiction and all about naughty wasps.
I would love to make a sandwich that big.
Fun. They make great things together rid of 4 million wasps.
What a strange story but we love it!
I like it because the birds have the sandwich for a hundred weeks and only 3 wasps got away!
I think it was clever how they trapped the wasps in the biggest sandwich ever!
This book is about a thousand wasps who fly into a town. They try to get rid of the wasps and then the whole town decide to work together to make a giant jam sandwich to get rid of them. My favourite part was where you can see them all baking the bread.
