I would totally recommend this book! I think it is suitable for ages 9 - 13 as it has some moment young kids could not understand.

I really like malorie blackmail books I've read this one and pig heart boy bothe amazing books

I enjoyed it very much. I stayed up all night reading it.
In give it 4 stars because it didn’t give some information about the parents when Lyidia went to the future. Because lyidia didn’t see her parents in the future. So did they die how? Or did they move away when?

I thought this book was really good because imagine you're just the new girl. Someone says you have to steal a sport trophy to join the group. You then get accused of stealing (but u didn't) you get caught in a rarity storm. You now start thinking, ''What if I can change the past to save the future?'
I would recommend it to people old enough to handle suspense and all sorts of things.

interesting storyline and very exciting adventurous book. i would recommend this to 8-11 years old

I really enjoyed this book and was so pleased it was a happy ending. This was very thought provoking as you could see that the events could become a reality in real life. I will definitely recommend this to the students.

I didn't really like the ending of the story but the rest was OK.

This book starts off as a realistic story of school life, focusing on the struggles of Lydia as she tries to settle into a new school. Things go from bad to worse when she is wrongly accused of stealing the school cup.

However, the the tone of the book dramatically changes when, as a result of a freak storm, Lydia is pitched into a dystopian future. However, the characters rapidly start to become very familiar to her... When she goes back to her own time, she has the information to avoid that future.

I particularly liked the character of Lydia and the possibilities of different futures based on the actions she took at school.

It's good but very long.

I liked this book as it had action, mystery and unexpected twists. I would recommend it to another person

A really good read

I loved this book. I really liked the plot twist and the characters Lydia meets in the future. She gets to see what would happen. Recommend this to year 5 or 6 children.

Good book. Its about Lydia Henson getting called a thief ten having to sort out the possible future.

This is my favorite book ever!!!
It tells about a girl who gets into her future and tries to get out of there. (she eventually succeeds!) so I really recommend this book

At the start she gets accused of stealing a trophy and then when her friend fell on a piece of ice people think she pushed her and then somehow she gets inside the future and meets the friends daughter and they have a friend called Mike but his mom is the person who actually stole the trophy and when she gets back to the past she had proof.

I love this book soo much! It feels like I am part of the story and it takes me on an adventure to the unknown! I recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit mystery, craziness and action! Malorie Blackman is an amazing author and I love reading her books! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

This book is an action-packed story which takes you on an adventure into the unknown! You will never want to the put this book down or stop reading it!

I JUST LOVE IT

It was fun to read, and quite emotional. I liked it a lot but readers who are younger than 10 will find the plot twists and the fact she travels about 37 years into the future at one point quite confusing. It was a very good book and I enjoyed it. I also heard the author has written a series and more books like this, which I am definitely going to read!

It is really good and it helps by giving you like a scenario. But apart from that it is an amazing adventure book.

I think you should read this book if you like adventure and action.

U should read it cuz it is descriptive and u will never stop reading it .it hooks the reader(me)

***** 5 stars for Thief! because it's amazing. Not going to give anything away from what happens in the story because it is so amazing just going to say it's about a girl called Lydia and her gross brother Danny who eats with his mouth open!

it is a book in which the main character suddenly travels to the future during an accident.
then she is able to see what is going to happen in the future .
later, when she returns, she sorts the things out which she knows are going to turn out in a negative manner in the future

I loved the drama and suspension, it made me want to keep on reading so much!!! The plot was weaved well and there were some mind blowing descriptions too! Well done, childrens laureate! :)
