Sunny, the meerkat lives with his enormous family in the Kalahari desert. One day Sunny decides he’s had enough and packs his bags. He’s off to visit his mongoose cousins. But Sunny just doesn’t fit into the nocturnal lifestyle of the Malagasy Mongoose. And who’s that shadowy figure who seems to be following him around?

I loved it. I liked it when the jackal was chasing him through the story.

An easy digestible and humorous read from the incomparable Emily Gravett. Who knew there were so many meerkat/mongoose species. Lots to look at and absorb in the pictures too.
It’s a lesson about nowhere is better than home. Sunny visits lots of places but home is the best.
I loved the adventure of this meerkat
This book was too short for me. I liked that it had flaps. It was about a meerkat who tries to go to different places. It's one of those "no place like home" stories, basically.
