We're Going On A Bear Hunt Mini

I really loved this book. It is about a family who go looking for a bear, travelling through grass, a river, mud, a forest and snow. I enjoyed all the fun sound words like "swishy swashy" and "splash splosh" – they make the story feel alive. It made me feel happy and excited. The ending is funny too. I would recommend this to any young child who loves adventures. With its lovely rhythm and repeating words, it ticks both 'Best to Read Aloud' and 'Poetry Power' perfectly!

My favourite thing about the book is were the Bear is sad and walks of because the Bear is lonely
