Nelson's Parrot Reading group

Based at HMP Ford Library - consisting of 9 male prisoners of various ages, backgrounds, faith, disability, ethnicity and sexual orientation and one education tutor. It is facilitated by Linda Collins; Prison Librarian. We meet, at least once a month, to discuss and review a book chosen by the group. We are members of the PLG who supply our books, which the prisoners are able to keep. We are therefore not only encouraging and supporting the reading process, but also personal book ownership.
