Elmer Day 2023 - Downloadable event packs

Elmer Day returns on Saturday 27 May 2023 and Andersen Press are offering free downloadable event packs to help you join in the celebrations in your school or library, including activity sheets, craft ideas and educational resources.

Get ready for the most colourful day of the year! For this year’s Elmer Day we are celebrating the themes of inclusivity and friendship that run throughout the Elmer books as well as honouring the life and legacy of Elmer’s creator David McKee.

Everyone is invited to join in the fun for Elmer Day, and while the official date for this year’s Elmer Day is Saturday 27 May, we invite you to celebrate at a time that works for you, whether that’s sharing Elmer stories throughout the week before or hosting craft sessions during Half Term.

We would love to see your celebrations for the day on social media using #ElmerDay and tagging AndersenPress/elmerthepatchworkelephant and readingagency.
