Focus group opportunity - Be part of the publishing process with Simon & Schuster

For Adults

Are you a reading group based in the UK? Would you like to be involved in the publishing journey of a bestselling author? If so, we invite you to register to participate in our Simon & Schuster focus group for reading groups.

Simon & Schuster UK is one of the leading general book publishing companies in the UK. Home to bestselling authors and award winners, Simon & Schuster UK is a publishing house of quality writing and a proud home to its authors and their exceptional work.

We have the exciting opportunity for two UK-based reading groups to be involved in the publishing journey of bestselling author Milly Johnson. If your group would like to take part, please fill out the survey below by 22 February. Groups will be selected and books will be sent in the following week.

We’ll provide your group with a copy of Milly Johnson’s brand new novel, The Happiest Ever After, to keep —and in return ask for your insights as a reading group. We are keen to have groups who are big Milly Johnson fans, as well as those who are casual Milly Johnson readers, or who have read similar authors before. All groups are welcome to apply.

What will happen if selected to take part?

You will receive the books by late February and, if selected, you and your reading group will be asked to join an hour-long virtual session in w/c 1 April (exact date/time will be determined in collaboration with your group). Groups will have the chance to share their reflections on the book, and get a unique glimpse behind the scenes of an author’s publishing journey. The virtual session will be recorded but the recording will be used for internal analysis only.

How to apply to take part

Fill in this survey by 12pm on 22 February.
