The second original, touching, twisted, and most of all hilarious novel for children from David Walliams, number one bestseller and fastest growing children’s author in the country – beautifully illustrated by Quentin Blake.
""Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well…” It all starts when Chloe makes friends with Mr Stink, the local tramp. Yes, he smells a bit. But when it looks like he might be driven out of town, Chloe decides to hide him in the garden shed. Now Chloe’s got to make sure no one finds out her secret. And speaking of secrets, there just might be more to Mr Stink than meets the eye… or the nose. TweetReviews
Really really good I would recommend it to someone
I like mr stink
The book was too gross
When a little girl let a poor man live with her
I think this book is good because Mr stink is nice and because he is nice he got a home in the shed of Chloe's house and he actuarlly is reallly nice. Chloe is really nice as well for letting Mr stink in to her shed even though she might get into trouble. Thats what a freind should do.
I love all David Walliam's books, I always look forward to character re-appearing like Raj.
I recommend this book for children that think there mother hates you but actually they love you inside .I don't recommend this book to people who has lost a loved person.
This book was interesting , when Chloe hid Mr Stink in the shed . Mr stink was about to be the prime minister but since he and Chloe were rude to the original prime minister Mr Stink wasn't able to become the prime minister.
It doesn’t matter if you are homeless, weak or smelly all it matters that you are kind, loving and caring and that is what Mr Stink is. I love his dog because he is so cute .
Mr Stink book review!
I like this book because it shows that it doesn't matter if you're homeless because you will have gone through a deverstating fate before. Mr Stink may smell but this is because he is homeless, he is how David Walliams calls it, a soap-dodger. Mr Stink is kind, friendly and if you want a friend you can go to him.Chloe has the kindest heart in the world, and if it wasn't for her nobody would realize Mr Stink used to be a lord. If it wasn't for Mr Stink Chloe’s mum wouldn't treat her like a mother should and mother would have not stopped acting like she was the poshest person in the world or treating her family like brats. Mr Stink used to be living in a mansion but lost his wife and child so left for ever.
The book made me feel really sorry because people are never going to change the actions of homeless people. I think the book is great not just because it is a good book but because you can learn from it too.
Love it love it love it it is so cool but my favourite character is Mr stink
i liked this book because how chloe and Mr Stink become freinds.
it is very,very funny
The book was okay for me.
I think my friends and cousins will like this book. I will recommend the book to my friends and cousins. I give this book a 4 or of 5 because the book wasn’t so good. For me the begging part was a bit dull boring but, the middle and end part was a 100% much better. When I recommend this book to my friends and cousins I will tell them the begging is a bit dull and boring and I’m sure they’ll love this story too especially one of my cousin because she loves stories and stories by David Williams.
i love becaues he stinks
I love it
It is an interesting story and it is easy to read.
Stinky
I like how Mr Stink is drawn on the front cover and it’s funny how the Mum likes to do everything posh and perfect. I like how Mr Stink wears his glasses. It’s funny how Mr Stink doesn’t take baths, he has ponds, one every year.
This book teaches us about always helping others even if they are stinky
I liked this book because it tells you that even if you are homeless you still should be treated the same way.
Fiction
Happy ending
It is about a kind girl named Chloe who helped a tramp who was a lord. My favourite character in it is Elizabeth the cat it is just always somewhere she shouldn't be. I would recommend it to people who are 8-11.
I liked chole and Mr stink the best because they both were kind and helped each other. Yes I would recommend it to others.
I thought that Mr stink would be a tramp but he was a rich person and it was mean at first because the girls mum say that he smell and didn’t get a chance of being president. Because she deserved it.
it was really nice.. and its kind of like a life story of always treat others how you would like to be treated ..because it always has a way coming back .
Loved this book!
MR Stink lives is a tramp and smells but then one day MR Stink had been invited to chole's house.
I love how the girl stood for mr stink when times were tough
Good but not liked by me
