As you get to know Link, a young homeless teenager you understand what it’s like to be down and out in London. A book to change attitudes.

A modern classic for ages 11+ about missing people being ignored if they live on the streets until one boy decides to investigate. The mood becomes more tense and the story has an exciting climax.
Suspenseful and addicting. This book is about people who are terrified of the cold, it is why it says "Fear stalks the streets". It is so interesting and I would read it again.
A very good story but I didn't like the way it ended.
This is a really interesting read because it adds a new twist to an old idea-that of teenage runaways/homelessness. The addition of 'Shelter' is fascinating and although he's a terrible character he raises some interesting questions about how he has been shaped into who and what he is.
Although in some ways the subject matter is shocking I definitely would recommend this as a really intriguing read.
does sometimes get a bit boring but highly recommend
